At Cornerstone Roofing it’s our heart to not only serve local businesses and organizations in Bloomington with our roofing services, but to also give back to the community and help those in need as much as we are able to. As we enter this holiday season in 2017 we just had a special opportunity to do just that. For over 30 years, The Hannah Center has been helping women and families in need. One of their services, The Hannah House, is doing great things in the city of Bloomington.
At Hannah House, we ensure that our residents have access to quality prenatal and pediatric care. In addition to participating in the programs offered at the Hannah Center, they receive life skills training and assistance in achieving longer-term educational and career goals.
Matt Hunsucker, the owner of Cornerstone Roofing, shares the following about this recent opportunity to serve:
Here is one we are very proud of! This is the Hanna House in Bloomington IN. This place is very important for our community. After a long time of trying to find a roofer to donate their time to tear off wood shake and install all new decking, along with new shingles. We were proud to help out our local community. We donated our time to tear this big, steep roof off. This was a very hard job for our guys. They stuck with it and did a great job. Thank you to ABC Supply in Bloomington to donate the materials. It was a great effort on both of our parts to get this great organization a new roof for free. We hope that young moms will be able to enjoy a nice dry building for years to come.
Tina Lampke, the Executive Director of the Hannah House was incredibly grateful for the help. She states:
I’ve never seen workers with such speed and attention to detail. The roof is perfect. Plus, the clean up was amazing. We would recommend Cornerstone to anyone….You have blessed us and many future generations. We cannot thank you enough.
