We are available to our customers during the entire roofing installation process. First, we meet with our customers for a roof inspection. During the inspection, we measure the roof and identify the proper ventilation needed. Then, we are able to generate an estimate and request materials for the project. We follow up with our customers to ensure that they understand the roof replacement process. We also answer any questions or concerns that they may have.

Full roof replacements include a 50-year factory warranty. This covers any manufacture defects, premature loss of granules, shingles blown off by winds less than 130 mph. This warranty does not cover natural disasters such as hail, fire, or wind gusts that exceed 130 mph.

A 25-year workmanship warranty is also included. If a problem occurs and an inspection determines that the roof was not installed properly, GAF will pay for the materials and labor to fix the issue.

  • How much does a new roof usually cost?

On average, a homeowner can expect a new roof to cost $6,000 – $7,000. A home that is 1,500 square feet or smaller is usually around $4,000 – $5,000.

  • How long does it usually take to install a new roof?

Most roofs can be torn off and installed in one day. It can take an extra day if your roof is very large or steep.

  • How do I know if I should replace my roof?

If your roof is older than 15 years you should get it replaced. If your roof is newer than 15 years old, but you suspect damage you can visually inspect it from the ground. Look for dark streaking on your roof, or shingles that look shiny when the sun hits them. If your roof seems to give off a reflective sheen in the sunlight this can indicate granule loss. You can always call us for a free inspection.

  • How do I know if I have storm damage?

We recommend having your roof inspected after there has been a strong storm in your area. Sometimes it can be difficult to identify storm damage without a proper inspection. If it seems like several houses in your neighborhood are getting new roofs, it could be a good indicator that your roof was also damaged. If your home was damaged during a storm your insurance may cover the repair.
